1. Correct Washing Rules

Hand washing is the optimal choice for cashmere and wool items. Prepare cold water below 30°C and special neutral wool detergent, soak the garment for no more than 10 minutes, then gently squeeze and rub dirty areas instead of twisting hard. Machine washing is allowed only if the knitwear is marked machine-washable: put it into a mesh laundry bag, select the wool gentle cycle, and strictly prohibit mixing with jeans, canvas and other rough fabrics to prevent serious pilling. Never use alkaline laundry powder, bleach or fabric softener containing fluorescent agents, which will destroy the natural fat layer of wool fibers and cause hardening and hair loss.

3. Daily Anti-Pilling & Wearing Suggestions

Cashmere and wool will naturally produce tiny floating hairs in the initial wear period, which is not a quality defect. Use a dedicated cashmere pilling comb to gently shave surface pills; avoid sharp razors that cut off complete fibers and damage the fabric structure. Reduce friction with rough backpack straps, thick coats and metal accessories during daily wear. For long-term office commuting, match smooth inner lining to lower friction frequency.

4. Long-Term Storage Standard

Clean the knitwear thoroughly before seasonal storage, as residual sweat and grease will breed mites and mold during long-term stacking. Fold neatly instead of hanging on hangers; wide shoulder hangers will still pull the shoulder seams loose. Place natural camphor wood blocks or lavender sachets beside folded clothes, keep the storage cabinet dry, and take out to ventilate every 2 weeks in humid seasons.
